Your First Continium Run

A clean setup that gives you signal fast.

The best first run isn’t comprehensive — it’s focused. You want a result you can interpret in under a minute, and a fork you can actually act on this week.

If you start with ten variables, you’ll get confused. If you start with one variable, you’ll get clarity. Continium is designed to reward simplicity.

A simple recipe

  • Choose one domain: health, income, or habits (pick the one that actually matters right now).
  • Pick a horizon you care about (12 months is the sweet spot for most people).
  • Define a baseline that’s honest — not aspirational.
  • Add one fork: a single change you can sustain for 30 days.
  • Run enough outcomes to see a range, then compare stability, not just peaks.

Pick the right first fork (examples)

A great first fork is small but meaningful. It should be something you can do even on a bad week.

  • Money: cut recurring expenses by 5–10% (no extreme budgeting).
  • Work: add 3 focused hours/week to one skill that compounds.
  • Health: protect a consistent sleep window (even if it’s not perfect).
  • Habits: 20 minutes/day — the smallest unit that compounds.

How to read your first result

  • Ignore the single best outcome. Look at the middle (median) and the spread (range).
  • If the fork wins but the spread is huge, the plan is fragile.
  • If the fork wins modestly with a tighter spread, the plan is reliable.
  • Name the driver: what changed the trajectory? That’s your leverage point.

The one step that makes it personal

After your run, do one Reality Sync. Log what actually happened. This is where Continium becomes yours. The model starts reflecting your real patterns — not generic advice.

“The goal is not to predict your life. The goal is to control the variables that shape it.”

Once you’ve done a clean baseline + one fork, you can expand: longer horizons, a few alternative strategies, and more detailed constraints. But your first win is clarity — fast.

Run a scenario in Continium

Start small: one baseline, one fork, one horizon. Then compare what actually moves the needle.
